The Free Architecture Guide of India (PDF)

India is a surreally beautiful country, some of its monuments are among the most impressive you’ll ever dream of seeing. Every corner of India deserves a visit and that’s why this is a country map instead of a city map. Anything interesting in terms of architecture is here. If you find any mistakes, or have any suggestions please let me know. My intention is to keep it useful. Hope you enjoy!

  1. Hi Virginia. I live in India but I have to say, even I didn’t know as much. You’re doing a brilliant work here. And to make this guide, I can imagine how much you’d have to put in. Seriously, amazing job done. You’re my inspiration. Always.

  2. Hi Virginia!
    Love your list!
Although it is very exhaustive, I would love to suggest few more places of architectural importance in Mumbai, to add to your list.

Art Deco precinct around the Oval Maidan (recently recogonised as UNESCO world heritage)
    Portuguese church
    National Gallery of Modern Art
    Khotachiwadi
    Eros Cinema
    Flora Fountain

P.S. The following locations are wrongly marked
    Siddhivinayak Temple
    Mount Mary Church
    Dhobi Ghat

Sorry it took me so long to reply but I wanted to check the places and carefully read your list (it’s great). I will update all the guides soon so this information comes just in time. Thanks for taking the time to let me know so other people can visit these sites 🙂
