The Free Architecture Guide of Madrid

13 Dec

Virginia Duran Blog- MadridMadrid is the city were I was born and where I lived for a long time.  As a consequence,  I decided to put all the information together as I did with New York and Chicago.  Anything interesting in terms of architecture is here. If you find any mistakes, or have any suggestions please let me know. My intention is to keep it useful. Hope you enjoy!

Really? I hope your visit lasts more than 15 days, because there are so many things to do. Are you going to visit any other city in Spain during your trip?

Delighted to learn where to come if again I have the urge to travel. Spain has always had an allure of it’s own

I think that by traveling we better understand people and other cultures and this makes us more tolerant. Hope that if you return to Spain, my maps would bring you to the right places :)

OMG Virginia!! These maps are so great! You have put together some great info and you also present very clearly… I know Madrid but I can’t wait to go back to check out all these things you’re describing here! Great great job… I think you should start selling those! I’d pay to have them!

Thank you! I really enjoy doing these. I know some interesting idea will come out of them (I am already building an app) but right now I will just keep on doing more :)

Yes, and share them please! One can tell that you enjoy doing this… they couldn’t be so nice and complete otherwise!

    • Virginia Duran October 14, 2013 at 10:52 am #

These are awesome news! Have you ever been in Spain before?

      • somestupidusername October 14, 2013 at 11:04 am #

Nope, it will be my first time! Really looking forward to it, and seeing the places around Madrid and Trujillo where he grew up! I also *must* get to Barcelona to see an Antonio Gaudi masterpiece!

      • Virginia Duran October 14, 2013 at 11:15 am #

Oh! You’re going to have such a great time. You definitely have to go to Barcelona too (that map is in progress ;)).
Gaudi has so many buildings around the city, don’t miss Casa Batllo!
